Learn about oyster farming in the area, its' history, modern techniques and biology.

 

Sample the world renowned Pambula Lake Sydney Rock oyster as fresh as can be - straight from the waters of the lake.

 

Get a crash course in oyster husbandry and inspect the native Angasi species of oyster which are also grown on the farm.

 

Once the oysters are aboard then it is time to set sail downstream to the scenic meandering Pambula river where ancient aboriginal middens dot the steep tree-studded banks whilst White bellied Sea Eagles circle overhead.

 

Geology of the area is also a fascinating feature of the tour.

 

Another downstream stop to see how the catching of oysters is done before heading back to the jetty.

 

Tours take approximately 2 hours.
